Jess is a strategic MedTech leader and illuminator with 20+ years of experience guiding medical device, diagnostic, and digital health companies across the full post-engineering lifecycle- from regulatory and clinical strategy to evidence generation, commercialization, and operations. Known for simplifying complexity and brining teams into alignment, she blends strategic clarity with practical, real-world execution.
As Founder of Richter Advisory Collective, Jess partners with MedTech innovators as a trusted thought partner, sounding board, and force multiplier. She helps leaders ask the right questions, make smarter decisions, and move faster with confidence—drawing on deep industry expertise, commercial acumen, and a global network of subject-matter experts to accelerate growth and bring meaningful solutions to patients sooner.
Previously, Jess served as EVP & General Manager of a global Contract Research Organization (CRO), guiding teams across regulatory, quality, clinical, commercial, and market access functions. Earlier roles at Medtronic, Covidien, Given Imaging, and Becton Dickinson shaped her expertise in commercialization, physician engagement, patient advocacy and operational transformation.
Jess contributes to the broader MedTech ecosystem through board roles with MedtechWOMEN and UCLA’s Technology Development Group, and by mentoring emerging innovators through MedTech Innovator, Stanford Biodesign, UC Berkeley MTM, and UCLA Biodesign.
